In relation to the attack that journalist Reynaldo Mozo was the subject of by Richar Blanco (son), Diosdado Cabello Rondón stressed that for the opposition, “if he is a Chavista, he deserves to be mistreated”.

On Wednesday night, on his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) stated that the National Union of Press Workers (SNTP) described the “attack” Richard Blanco (son) as a “misunderstanding” despite the fact that at first they condemned him.

“Who misunderstood? Would it be Reynaldo Mozo? When the SNTP says that a misunderstanding is terrible because it justifies any act against someone who does not have the opposing profile (...) A misunderstanding of who and between whom? There what was there was pure opposition... What they want to convey is that Venezuela is at war, but this country is at peace,” he said.

He added that among those who repudiated the incident is the journalist Luz Mely Reyes. “She knows what acts of racism are like, because people very close to her have applied it to her and she doesn't seem to notice it and she's still there (...)”.
