Cabello on proliferation of shooting ranges, paintball and airsoft: I ordered an investigation

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, called for putting a stop to the proliferation of premises within the city where the violence of video games with facsimiles of weapons is reproduced.

“Here we recently dismantled a “shooting academy” in the state of Zulia, where they seized a building and covered it with Kevlar fabric because that way they released stress, but no, here we are not in the United States where people de-stress by killing people from their neighbors,” he emphasized.

The Vice President of Policy, Security and Peace, ordered an investigation into the proliferation of airsoft and paintball courts.

“I have ordered an investigation into a thing called Airsoft, where they practice shooting. What is that? Is that Venezuelan? These are habits that come from outside, that's the people who get annoyed with killing games and then go out to kill for real,” he said.
