After a tour of the areas affected by the rains in Cumanacoa, Sucre state, where he supervised the recovery work, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, exalted this Saturday the joy of the people, who rose from the climate catastrophe.

From the Barrio Blanco sector, Cabello reported that he held a meeting with the authorities deployed in the town. “We came here, almost four months after the tragedy, to evaluate, to check” to review “the issue of housing, the topic of high schools, the issues of roads, the issue of caring for people who suffered at that time,” he explained.

He also said that he spoke with the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, to attend to the missing families “and to continue little by little. We are very happy to see that the streets of the town are once again filled with the joy of this town, with the people working, with the farmers piling up their harvest, selling on the streets, and that is life because, a town purely of working people, there is no slack here,” he said.
