This Friday, March 28, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that while some were praising Nayib Bukele when he took office in El Salvador, he already warned that he was a fascist.
“He is an idiot who believes that behind social networks he can govern a country, also associated with the government of the United States (...) The first time he received the presidency, I said that he was a fascist, because some people began to say 'that if he's going to be the type' (...), no, he's a fascist, structurally he's a fascist,” he said during his podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña.
In that sense, he referred to what is happening with Venezuelan migrants in El Salvador and specified that this “is pure fascism, it is the persecution of a people and it deserves everyone's repudiation.”
He pointed out that the sad thing is that, when all of Venezuela should be condemning these actions by El Salvador against our migrants, there are sectors of the extreme right that are well-off and quiet.
