Cabello on 30A: A large demonstration by Pueblo took to the streets to call for an end to violence

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled this Monday that five years ago the People mobilized and defeated the coup attempt that the Venezuelan right tried to create in the country.
“The People began to move (...) and the Palace was surrounded by a large demonstration of Pueblo in the street, of Pueblo demanding an end to violence,” Cabello said during a PSUV press conference.
He also said that that day all the opposition was present at the La Carlota dealer, in Altamira, although many now deny it.
“Everyone stopped by the dealer Altamira, to take the photo with Juanito Alimaña (Juan Guaidó), with Leopoldo López, who were in charge, but then they had the photos deleted from the internet because it scratched them,” he said.
