Cabello on 13-A 2002: We ask for the guarantee of President Chávez's life

On April 13, 2002, the then Vice President of the Republic, Diosdado Cabello , asked for the President's life guarantee Hugo Chávez , who had been kidnapped by traitors, right-wing factors and business sectors in the country who plotted a coup d'etat in the country.

“President Hugo Chávez has been arrested somewhere in Venezuela. We don't know exactly, we hope that institutionality will be recovered through my swearing in as provisional president as established by the Constitution, now what we are asking is that those who have the President of the Republic , to President Chávez, the guarantee of his life, the guarantee of his stability”, was what Cabello requested.

After being sworn in as Provisional President in the Miraflores Palace, Cabello's order was that they go out to rescue the Commander, who returned and was greeted with songs of joy and love for the people of Venezuela.
