Cabello: Noelí Pocaterra's eyes are the eye of the story of life, of wisdom

During the broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program, the first vice-president, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, paid tribute to the revolutionary activist, defender of the human rights of the indigenous peoples Nohelí Pocaterra.

“Noelí has the vision of life, of wisdom,” said Cabello after reading a poem dedicated to Pocaterra by González Llovera, in which he praises his development in revolutionary struggles.

The leader served as a deputy in the Permanent Committee on Indigenous Peoples in the National Assembly (AN), she contributed to the recognition of indigenous peoples in the discussion of the country's major issues and in 2005 she was proposed as a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize.
