Cabello: More than a million Venezuelans have returned to their homeland fleeing the American nightmare

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during the 520 broadcast of Con El Mazo Dando, stressed that the Government of Nicolás Maduro since 2018 has called on Venezuelan migrants to return to their homeland.

“Since 2018, the President has said that all Venezuelans return to their homeland, and more than a million of those who were deceived, manipulated or seeking the American dream and found the harsh reality of nightmares, have returned as prodigal children to their homes,” he said.

He added that good children return home and criticized so-called influencers who wanted to link all Venezuelan migration to being members of the extinct criminal gang eradicated from Venezuela known as the Aragua Train.

“Of the last batch of Venezuelans who returned to the country, 16 have requests for different reasons, none linked to the Aragua Train. The vast majority come to reconnect with their family,” he said, adding that “every time a Venezuelan comes and I have the opportunity to hug him, I'm going to hug him, whatever his name is; every time I have the chance I'll do it.”
