This Sunday, March 30, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, assured that more than 1,454 compatriots have returned to the country through the Plan Back to the Fatherland this year 2025.
“There are more than 1,279, plus these 175 that have arrived, but of all those, only one from the operational point of view of belonging to a band and having weight, comes on today's flight; before they had sent absolutely no one to us and it has nothing to do with the Aragua Train band, but with a band that operates in Trujillo called the Cagón band and we don't need to lie to anyone,” he said from the Simon Bolivar de Maiquetía International Airport.
Cabello reaffirmed that, despite sanctions and constant attacks by the United States against Venezuela, the Bolivarian Government will continue to extend its hand of solidarity to compatriots anywhere in the world.
“We are committed to bringing our migrants, it's a commitment of the President, of the Revolution and we don't really care about threats, we absolutely don't care about any additional situation we have with them, but it's part of the entanglement that the United States has,” he said.
He emphasized that “the only way we can receive people here who come to the United States is for them to agree there; let's hope that today's experiment works,” he added, referring to the fact that the U.S. government has a great deal of work to do its operations.
