The first vice-president of the
United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, regarding the
statements of María Corina Machado and Corina Yoris, pointed out that both “have
a very serious problem, a serious problem, because for this electoral process, according to the Organic
Law of Electoral Processes, they can't do anything, nothing
more than vote, for the rest they can't do anything else.”
Cabello
assured that not only for these elections Machado “can't do anything”, but
even beyond 2036, “because his disqualification goes there”, while
specifying that upon hearing the contradictions of the opponents, “one has to
end up concluding: Poor Venezuela if they ever came to govern it!
Regarding Yoris' inscription, the first vice president specified that “it's a roll that we have nothing to do with”. In that sense, he assured that Machado holds the key, while questioning how they managed to register Manuel Rosales, “how did they write Edmundo González? They enrolled them because they did have the code, they didn't enroll Mrs. Corina Yoris because they weren't going to let go of this lady's impositions (Machado).”
