Diosdado Cabello Rondón, sector vice president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, said that it is difficult to maintain relations with governments
that seek to generate terrorist acts in Venezuela.
“It's difficult to have
a relationship with the United States when a citizen of its army, a special operator of explosive weapons, is captured and they say that he came here for a walk,
they know that he didn't come for a walk (...) It's difficult to
enter into a relationship with the Spanish CNI (National Intelligence Center) when they
deny the facts, they know that it's true, that they are the recruiters, in
Europe, of mercenaries and they are paying French, Moroccans and other nationalities
so that they come to Venezuela to generate acts of terrorism,”
he said.
In this regard,
during the press conference from the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations,
Justice and Peace, he reaffirmed that it is difficult to establish relations with these governments
when the CNI, the CIA and the DEA carry out actions to overthrow the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela.
At the same time,
he indicated that they are also looking for and using paramilitary agents to bring them to Venezuela.
“It's difficult to
talk to that government (the United States), when they allow
mercenaries on their soil to collect money to assassinate a president,” he said, and he assured
that if that happened in Venezuela those citizens would already be detained.
“Venezuela doesn't lend itself to that, but it's imperialist hypocrisy. What I assure you is that there will be justice here, these citizens are detained, well cared for, protected and no one has harmed them,” he said.
