The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that in Venezuela “we are fighting that battle and we are defeating fascism.”

“This is not a matter of arrogance, but what happens in Venezuela will have an impact on other countries and on the entire continent,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 494, on Wednesday, September 11.

He stressed that if we manage to continue to overcome as is being done, “fascism is not going to settle in America.”

“If fascism were to prevail here in Venezuela, the wave that would come would be terrible against the Peoples,” he warned and reaffirmed the need for the unity of the country, “and including, for whatever the term, those who are not Chavistas, but who must understand what fascism means, because they grab one and then go for the others, only those who they want and in a circumstantial way are left.”

“There are the threats of the last few days (...) and there we are standing,” he said.
