The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed that during his tenure as interim president of the Republic, after the overthrow of the coup plotters with Pedro Carmona Estanga at the head in April 2002, he fulfilled the honor of signing the Decree to reinstate Hugo Chávez in the first national judiciary.
“I made a good government, for 5 and a quarter hours, and I signed a single Decree to return power to Commander Chávez, I have that decree in my house,” he recalled in his Con El Mazo Dando program,
He recalled that the oligarchy tried, after those events of 2002, to inflate his ego through its media, profiling him as a successor to Commander Chávez, however, in an interview he was emphatic in assuring that in the future he would see himself accompanying the forerunner of the Bolivarian Revolution, confirming his loyalty .
