The first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela
(PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed this Monday that the world should understand, “before saying anything about Venezuela, that the internal affairs of our
country are resolved by Venezuelans.”
“The thing is
that there are people who lose their tongues and then say: Oh I was wrong! (...) But
the conclusion of all this is that they must respect our country,” Cabello
said when asked about the recent statements made by the
President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in which he affirms that he
cannot question the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) of Venezuela.
He also applauded the position taken by the Brazilian president. “It's never late, it's never late,” he said.
