The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, rejected this Sunday the attempts of the world right to damage the image of Commander Hugo Chávez.

“There is an international campaign against Commander Chávez, for what Chávez represents for Venezuela and for the Peoples, he is a moral and ethical reference,” said Cabello from the Mountain Barracks, in Caracas, during the ceremony commemorating the Civic-Military Rebellion of February 4, 1992.

He pointed out that North American imperialism “never stays calm, it has a fixation against Venezuela”, so he called again for the unity of the revolutionary forces.

“Let's stay united, let's accompany President Nicolás Maduro in this hard task that has befallen him, everyone from where it belongs (...) The story is just beginning to be written and today, 32 years later, he agrees with the soldiers who left with Chávez on February 4,” emphasized Cabello.
