Cabello highlighted Piedad Córdoba's courage: She was a friend of Venezuela through thick and thin

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, paid tribute to the Colombian lawyer, politician and senator, Piedad Córdoba, who died in Colombia this Saturday, January 20.
“To the family of Piedad Córdoba, our word of condolence, but also the recognition of a friend from Venezuela through thick and thin,” he emphasized.
In his show Con el Mazo Dando, broadcast number 462, he argued that Piedad Córdoba “didn't feel sorry to say anywhere that she was a friend of Venezuela.”
“For us, a great companion, sister in struggle, attacked, singled out, they messed with her in a thousand possible ways. She was a senator and they dismissed her,” she recalled.
