Through the social network X, the Russian ambassador to Venezuela, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, reported that he held a meeting with the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, in which they had the opportunity to analyze cooperation between the parties of both nations.

“An honor to meet the first vice-president of the PSUV @dcabellor. We analyzed interparty cooperation in the concept of the next International Forum of supporters of the fight against modern practices of neocolonialism,” the diplomat wrote on the social network this Monday.

It is important to highlight that the International Forum of Supporters of the Fight against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism will be held on February 15 and 17 of this year in Moscow, with the objective of continuing to advance more democratic and just international relations.

“This is a pressing issue, precisely because the neocolonial nature, the essence of Western politics, is explicitly manifested in the current actions of the United States and its allies. This nature continues with the same meaning that it is to use the resources of others for our own benefit and to live at the expense of others. It is expected that the coming Forum will be a very interesting and momentous event,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation , Sergey Lavrov, who approved the initiative, according to information in a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
