The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that it was Guyana that broke all cordial dialogue procedures.

During the speech of his program Con El Mazo Dando #458, he said that Venezuela is not going to slow down and we must let the friends of the world know what is happening in this controversy with Guyana.

“We are not taking anything, absolutely nothing from Guyana, that territory belongs to Venezuela,” he emphasized and recalled that it was the Government of Guyana that went to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to ask for the suspension of the Consultative Referendum in defense of Esequiba Guava “because they have friends there, because Exxon Mobil pays.”
