Cabello: From the ground up, the decision was made to continue with Nicolás Maduro as a candidate

Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), said that “the decision was made from the grassroots to continue with Nicolás Maduro as a candidate”
In its program, Con El Mazo Dando stated that last week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) the ordinary militant came out to endorse a proposal “in a unified manner and by consensus; the candidate for the presidential election of the year 2024 is called Nicolás Maduro Moros”.
He stressed that throughout the national territory, with organization and awareness of the militancy, they met in a disciplined manner, in order, and with detailed minutes where the decision to support President Maduro was taken for granted.
