Cabello faced with plans of extremism during Holy Week: They have used that repeated deck of cards

Faced with the plans of the extreme opposition right to destabilize the country during Holy Week under the pretext of the alleged “ political prisoners”, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, pointed out that “they have used that repeated deck”.

During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Cabello stressed that “it has been demonstrated, over and over again, that there are no political prisoners here. Here there are terrorists, fascists, people who tried to assassinate another, people who murdered others and others”, referring to those arrested after the post-election violence driven by extremism.

He criticized that the church hierarchy does not speak out for the persecution of Venezuelan migrants in the United States, from where more than 240 were transferred to El Salvador, where they remain kidnapped in a maximum-security prison without having committed any crime.

“They don't say anything about what the (Donald) Trump administration is doing with Venezuelans. They remain silent about the atrocities being carried out by the United States government against migrant people. Oh, because he's their boss (...) We do raise our voices for all Venezuelans wherever they are. They have no right to be persecuted as the United States government is doing,” Cabello repudiated.
