During his Con El Mazo Dando program, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, expressed his solidarity with the town of Macuro, located in the municipality of Valdez, in the state of Sucre.

“From here on out of this program my humble solidarity with the people of Macuro, in the state of Sucre,” he emphasized.

This was stated by Cabello, in the face of the absurd statements of journalist Valentina Quintero, who, on a YouTube program, considered Macuro to be the worst place in the country she has visited. “Their only merit is having been the people who saw Christopher Columbus and that's it, that's shit,” he said.

In this regard, in the 477th issue of space, Cabello noted that “this lady said it, I think that in the midst of a drunkenness, I don't know, drunkards say what they think is their truth”.

He commented that at the time he had to go to Macuro “more than once, even Commander Chávez ordered to put a radio there in Macuro, and we went out with a radio station and he was the Commander of that place.”

“As you are going to tell them that it is a shitty town, that has resisted everything, okay, first, that they had no land connection with the rest of the Sucre state, historically, that they are courageous, that there are workers, fishermen (...) How are you going to say that to a People?” , he stressed.

Cabello stated that they consider it that way “because they despise him, because they are full of hate.”
