Cabello: “Every day we are more concerned than ever with the unity of our people”

“Every day we continue, more restrained than ever, with the unity of our people,” said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, from the La Carlota distributor in Altamira, during an event to mark the 5th anniversary of the failed coup d'etat of April 30, 2019.

Cabello Rondón highlighted the capacity of the Venezuelan people to reinvent themselves, to feel when they are in danger, to communicate and to generate antibodies against treason, corruption and violence.

“The bourgeoisie has not been able to and will not be able to deal with us, these operations of coups d'etat, of assassinations of invasions, of hiring mercenaries, are part of the desperation of having wasted the possible achievements they could have when they won the National Assembly (AN),” said Cabello.

In that sense, he recalled that as soon as they arrived at the AN, they arrogantly said that in six months Nicolás Maduro was leaving, “Venezuela and the world must not forget it”.

“Six years later, Nicolás Maduro is still the president of Venezuela, together with his people,” said Cabello Rondón.

He also said that the People are standing up to support the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Revolution and President Nicolás Maduro.
