Diosdado Cabello questioned the partiality that journalist unions show when they remain silent about attacks and violations of freedom of expression coming from sectors of opposition extremism.
During the 588th broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program, Cabello Rondón referred to Vente Venezuela's call to the press, which limited questions to the national press. “They would allow 15 questions and only 4 for local media.”
“If I did that, the press workers' union would have already released 25 statements condemning the attitude of Diosdado Cabello. But since he's not Felicia's son, then they come the other way, because it's a society of accomplices,” he said.
He also stated that only those in the swarm, those who have been charging have the right to ask, “the others have no right to ask or to be.”
In that sense, he affirmed that this is the world they want to sell to him, a Venezuela with “democracy”, with “freedom of the press”. “The facts are demonstrating reality, not the rumor and the fabrication of urban legends,” he added.
