Diosdado Cabello, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, stressed that opposition sectors continue in their efforts to call public officials involved in corruption, as well as in the financing of violent groups, 'political prisoners'.

“When they catch a corrupt person they party, they talk a lot and then turn them into pieces with what those people are talking about, what was the mechanism like? Chains, not prayers, chains of corruption! Keep talking and asking for the freedom of your “heroes”, he said.

He pointed out that although these groups were warned that an auditing and control process would be carried out, the evidence was so convincing that State security agencies and the Public Ministry acted.

He assured that the extreme right will qualify these defendants for justice as political prisoners because they will lack the allowance of a mayor's office that directed all the taxes it received to finance violent groups.
