The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that Colombian security agencies have helped the Bolivarian Government identify logistics operators that are trying to introduce weapons into Venezuela.

“More than 500 weapons have been seized by the different security bodies in Venezuela, in the last operation there were 7.1 weapons, we arrested 19 foreign nationals, 14 of them have already been presented,” he explained.

He assured that the investigation continues, reviewing links, links, doing the task that is none other than the peace of mind of Venezuelans.

“We would like you to formally call the man from Hotel Las Toninas in Colombia, to find out why everyone is passing by. Why do they stay in that hotel?” , he pointed out

In that regard, he emphasized that it is very important for neighboring countries to understand that what happens to them in Venezuela has consequences for them, because they would apply it as a modus operandi to destabilize.

“I am sure that these operations are not only being carried out towards Venezuela, but towards other countries that are not related to the United States government,” he said.

He indicated that the Bolivarian Government is after searching for a group of weapons that are unarmed. “We are doing our job, we hope that INTERPOL will do its job and prevent those weapons from leaving there for Venezuela,” he said.
