Cabello: Assemblies demonstrate that the PSUV is a dynamic party that recognizes and promotes local leadership

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the high participation registered in the more than 47,000 assemblies developed by the red awning across the country so that it is the bases that run the candidates and candidates for the elections of May 25.

During his visit to the Computing and Internal Control Room of the PSUV, he maintained that a few hours after the installation of the assemblies, more than 6,000 communities had already transmitted information about their processes, evidencing the organizational capacity of the militancy of the socialist umbrella.

“So far, of the 47,263 assemblies, when it is 2:52 and we already have 6749 assemblies with records sent so far 18,687 colleagues out of the total of 47,263 communities, assemblies of extraordinary communities,” he said.

He stressed that this process shows that the PSUV “is a dynamic party, a party in movement that recognizes local leaders, but not only recognizes them but also promotes them and gives the leading role to those who should play the leading role.”

“These are direct instructions from our president Nicolás Maduro that come from that dream of Commander Chávez that the bases were being replaced and we are doing exactly what the rule indicates; let it be the bases that express their will over the candidates and candidates,” he exalted.
