The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, in response to Brian Nichols's request to Spain to freeze assets of Venezuelans who hold high positions within the Bolivarian Government, asked why don't they freeze the assets of their protégés?

“Why don't they freeze all the money that Juan Guaidó, Leopoldo López, Carlos Vecchio, Antonio Ledezma has?” , questioned Cabello Rondón, during the speech of his Con El Mazo Dando #497 program.

He also pointed out that they only know how to speak “bag shops”, at the same time he criticized that they protect Rafael Ramírez, “why don't they freeze his money? They will have some agreement,” he added.

“We are sanctioned and they threaten us, they persecute us, but they won't be able to beat us because we don't fear either gringos or Europeans,” he said.
