This Wednesday, January 24, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted the mobilization registered throughout the country this Tuesday, January 23, commemorating the overthrow of the dictatorship of Marco Pérez Jiménez, in the Civic-Military Union.

“All of Venezuela mobilized, all the states, with their actions,” he recalled and noted that the marches that started from Francisco de Miranda Park, “until they reached the National Assembly.

“What a beautiful thing, I can't be in that march, but I was in Táchira,he said during his program Con el Mazo Dando, where he exalted that during his participation in Táchira, he was accompanied by Governor Freddy Bernal and the People of Tachirense.”

He recalled that before the Bolivarian Revolution there was no true democracy of the People, but rather a democracy of the elites characterized by repression and the politics of death.

“More than 11,000 young people disappeared, dead, three thousand of them, still no one knows where they are (their bodies).”
