Cabello after appointment as minister: Here we are ready with the People always on the path of the Commander!

This Tuesday, August 27, the new Minister for the Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, thanked the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for his trust in putting him at the head of this portfolio, which will always be at the side of the People.

“Thank you for the trust President (...) when the Clarín de la Patria calls, we are there ready with the People, always on the path of Commander Hugo Chávez,” he emphasized during the Meeting with the Communes and Balance of the Second National Popular Consultation.

He noted that he returns to the Ministry of Justice and Peace, 22 years later. “I was Minister of the Interior in 2002, after handing over the vice-presidency to José Vicente Rangel, Commander Chávez appointed me Minister of Interior and Justice, in full guarimba,” he recalled, referring to the fact that at that time the right wing was beginning to show its fascist features.

He stressed that, as in those times, the revolutionary forces overcame the violence of the right and that is why “today Venezuela is on the path of definitive peace, a peace with justice, one where the People feel that those who have acted against the Constitution and the Law have justice applied to them in a timely, timely and just way.”

“So under the President's command, here's a soldier from February 4th, a soldier of the Revolution, your soldier,” he said.
