Cabello a Luz Mely Reyes: Opposition cannot deny that it uses children as human shields

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, criticized longlifter Luz Mely Reyes for being part of the media scoundrel dedicated to attacking the government of President Nicolás Maduro, using a script full of falsehoods and manipulations that are repeated over and over again in the media and social networks.

“There are children who are detained for another condition because they have traces of gunpowder in places where a person was killed and they are part of the investigation and it's not true, what you say is that the procedures for the tests that were applied to minors were not respected, nor are they in prisons with ordinary prisoners,” he said.

Cabello rejected Reyes' lies that the Venezuelan Government persecutes and kidnaps minors. “I deny and confirm that the Government does not persecute or kidnap minors, but what the “Luz Melys Reyes” of the opposition cannot deny is that they use children as human shields,” he emphasized.
