At a press conference, the Sectorial Vice President for Public Security Policy and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported on new terrorist links against Venezuela and the presence of Spanish mercenaries in Puerto Cabello.

“Yorman Varillas, a citizen of the state of Zulia linked to the murder of a young man from the University in the entity (LUZ), fled Venezuela. It appears in groups where they talk about exclusive weapons and who is going to use them.”

“For some time now, groups have emerged in the world that offer to liberate Venezuela; they never act alone, intelligence agencies from other countries operate behind these groups,” he warned.

In this regard, Cabello stressed that “all this alerts us, we make an extra effort at the borders and today we have been captured under the control of the National Government, being guarded with respect for human rights mercenary citizens who have come to Venezuela as part of this plan.”

Two Spanish citizens were arrested in Puerto Ayacucho: José María Basoa Vadovinos and Andrés Martínez Adasme, near the airport.

“We found links with a lady named María Teresa Clavijo from the state of Aragua, leader of Vente Venezuela, Yorman Enrique Varillas, Jessica Isabela Ponte Figuera (the citizen participated directly in the acts of masked violence, she was also the contact of the two Spaniards).

The sectoral vice-president of Public Security Policy and Peace, denounced the intention to assassinate the mayor of Upata and has ties to Américo de Grazia.

The arrested mercenaries have ties to the Spanish National Intelligence Center (CNI) and from that country “they can come out saying no, but they have ties, there it is,” Cabello added. In this regard, he reported that they are being held.
