Brazil's Supreme Court will vote on accusation against Bolsonaro this Wednesday for attempted coup d'etat

The five judges that make up the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Brazil will vote this Wednesday, March 26, starting at 9:30am local time, if they accuse former president Jair Bolsonaro, for an alleged coup attempt after the 2022 elections, won by the current president of the South American country, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, reported the Ansa Latina website.
The main Brazilian media report that tomorrow, after the judge reporting the case, Alexandre de Moraes, the other four ministers of the First Chamber of the Supreme Court green-gold will vote, namely, Flávio Dino, Luiz Fux, Cármen Lúcia and Cristiano Zanin.
Stresses that if the ministers vote to accept the complaint of the Attorney General of the Republic, Bolsonaro and seven other defendants, including former ministers Augusto Heleno (Institutional Security), Braga Netto (head of the presidential cabinet and then Minister of Defense), Paulo Sérgio Nogueira (Defense) and Anderson Torres (Justice), will become accused; and criminal proceedings will begin against them
According to Brazilian news site Metropolis, the initial phase of the investigation includes listening to witnesses and gathering any additional evidence, followed by defending the defendant and cross-examining.
Once this phase is over, the case will go to court for consideration without a deadline for a possible sentence.
