The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported that 5 million 987,599 positive cases of dengue fever and 3,963 deaths have been registered in the South American country.


In this regard, he indicated that the current incidence rate in Brazil is currently 2,949 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, and more than 2,850 deaths are under investigation to confirm or rule out if the cause was due to dengue.


He pointed out that the people with the most cases are young people between 20 and 29 years old, followed by the ages of 40 to 49, and those who have had the least infections are adults over 80 years of age and children aged 0 to four.
