Bolivarian Shield 2025! More than 19 military and police personnel were deployed in the Capital region

More than 19,000 men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with organized popular power, were deployed in the Capital District, in Miranda and La Guaira as part of the 2025 Bolivarian Shield exercises, said the commander of the Capital Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI), M/G Dilio Rodríguez.

From the Llaguno bridge in Caracas, the senior military officer explained that within the framework of these maneuvers, more than 28 exercises have been carried out within the area covered by the REDI to ensure the comprehensive defense of our territory.

“It has been demonstrated that the people, the FANB and the citizen security agencies, in perfect fusion, form an impregnable defensive system to guarantee the peace, sociego and integrity of everything we have received from the legacy of our liberator Simón Bolívar, the Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez,” said the senior military official during a contact with Venezolana and Television.

For his part, the commander of the Capital Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), G/D José Figuera Valdez, reported that as part of these maneuvers in Caracas, 10 exercises are being carried out to check the level of operational readiness of the FANB and its coordination with the people.

“We are placing an emphasis on the protection of strategic facilities. We have done safety exercises in electrical and water pumping sub-stations. We also did an exercise to protect the Caracas Metro and the National Power Center (Miraflores),” he explained.

For his part, M/G Javier Marcano Tábata, commander general of the Presidential Honor Guard, highlighted the “very high morale” of the Venezuelan people and their FANB, who know, are clear, that the Homeland is defending itself.

“With these exercises, we have been able to verify in Caracas, the energy of collective organizations, of the motorized fronts, of our people, which materializes in perfect civic, military and police union. The people have a very high morale and will to fight because they know that peace, prosperity and the right to exist as a free, independent and sovereign nation are being defended,” he said while highlighting the leadership of Nicolás Maduro to be at the forefront of all this maneuver as Commander in Chief of the FANB.
