Bolivarian Government will guarantee optimal public transport conditions during Carnival holidays

Authorities from the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, the Superior Organ of Transportation and public land transport unions, agreed to improve the provision of the service.

They committed to improving safety, hygiene and comfort, to ensure the mobility of seasonal workers across the country, during the Carnival holidays.

The security coordination meeting with the public land transport sector was attended by the Deputy Minister of Prevention, Public Security and Peace Quadrants, Endes Palencia; the president of the National Institute of Land Transport (INTT), Luis Ignacio Granko Arteaga; representatives of the Public Ministry (MP), the National Urban Transport Fund (FONTUR), the Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), the Zone Command No. 43 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc), among other citizen security bodies.

During the meeting, they evaluated the results of previous agreements, discussed strategies to be implemented for the Carnival holiday and transport unions, and had the opportunity to express their opinions regarding mobility, in order to address possible difficulties that may arise and establish mechanisms to solve them expeditiously, INTT press reports.

Public security bodies are committed to ensuring safety on roads and highways in the national territory during this harvest.
