The Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT) accompanies the technical training of the personnel who will participate in the Census of Peasant Women 2026, with the purpose of ensuring accurate data collection in rural areas of the country.

The training, led by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) in the state of Sucre, seeks to standardize the criteria for collecting agricultural data, optimizing staff loading times and ensuring the recording of GPS coordinates even in communities without an internet connection, through the use of the KoBoToolBox platform.

With this initiative, the MINCYT reaffirms its commitment to the socio-productive development and comprehensive care of peasant women, by providing technological tools that facilitate the characterization of their activities and needs in the territory.
