Bolivarian Government to install new photovoltaic system in Mérida

The Bolivarian Government of Mérida will install a new Photovoltaic System at the La Aguada station as part of the technological advances in renewable energy that continue to be developed successfully in the Andean entity.

This was reported by the Secretary of Public Services and Territorial Manager of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), Marielys Sacipa, who explained that this alternative generation plan aims to supply electricity 24 hours a day to this radio base, which serves 80% of telecommunications and repeaters in the state of Mérida.

According to what was published by Prensa Gobernación de Mérida, Sacipa indicated that the installation of the solar panels will be carried out with the support of Construsmerida and CORPOELEC.
