This Tuesday, October 22, a discussion was held on the operational processes of the National Financial Intelligence Unit (UNIF), for the Suspicious Activity Report (RAS) in the Tourism Sector.

The activity took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, aimed at Tourism Service Providers (PST), MINTUR reported, on its Instagram account.

The workshop organized by the Coordination for Prevention, Control and Control against Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism in the Tourism Sector and UNIF, included the participation of Tourism Service Providers, in person and digitally.

These actions contribute to the policies established by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to boost tourism activity in the country.

During the activity, participants received information on how to establish best practices, to achieve effectiveness in reporting suspicious activities in terms of attention, independence and autonomy.
