Bolivarian Government reopens weightlifting gym in Aragua

This Tuesday, April 23, authorities from the Ministry of Popular Power for Youth and Sports, together with the Government of Aragua, reinaugurated the José Manuel Vázquez Sánchez Weightlifting Gym, in the spaces of the Julián Landaeta Robles Sports Complex of the Regional Sports Institute of the state of Aragua (IRDA).

The alliance between the Regional Government, the company CANTV and the IRDA marked the resurgence of this gym with the main objective of expanding the practice of sports and strengthening the different disciplines in the Aragüeña region.

It is estimated that more than 400 athletes in disciplines such as kempo, karate do and sumo will benefit from this renovated space, 100% adapted for athletes with disabilities and suitable for the development of different competencies.
