Bolivarian Government reopened Liceo Manuel Piar in Aragua

In an event surrounded by popular joy, the Manuel Piar National High School was reopened, located in the Canaima urban area of the Pedro Arévalo Aponte parish, Santiago Mariño municipality, Aragua state. The significant recovery of this educational center in Aragüeño will favor 595 students in the general average.
The activity was held with the presence of prominent regional and local authorities, who highlighted the joint work between the national, regional and municipal governments and the community. The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, highlighted the importance of this work as a tangible example of the management of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the commitment of the mayor of the Mariño municipality, Joana Sánchez, to education in Aragüeña.
The Deputy Minister of Education, Alejandro López, also present at the event, celebrated the reopening of the Manuel Piar High School for the second part of the school year, and highlighted the tangible impact on students' academic development.
Meanwhile, the regional president praised the improvements made to the high school, which include roof waterproofing, the rehabilitation of bathrooms, comprehensive painting of classrooms and outdoor areas, construction of a caney and a stage for cultural events, as well as the delivery of furniture, uniforms and school footwear. “This project is an example of the positive impact that participation and inclusion generates in the educational process. The renovation of this high school revitalizes the community and promotes peace,” he said.
In addition, he highlighted the commitment of the Aragua state government to the rehabilitation of educational institutions and announced future restorations in the entity.
Finally, Carpio emphasized the need to work with peace, joy and solidarity to improve the quality of life of the population of Aragüeña.
