In the context of the comprehensive recovery of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), Vice President Delcy Rodríguez handed over the Casona Ibarra, located in the spaces of the University City and declared a National Historic Monument in 1970.

Rodríguez, during an activity with the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that with this work, this work will reach 75 buildings in the University City of Caracas recovered after the deployment of the Presidential Commission for the Recovery of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) through the Venezuela Bella Mission.

For his part, the Head of State reiterated his intention to contribute to the recovery of these facilities as well as the rest of the country's public universities as part of a national government policy aimed at growing, producing and investing this wealth directly in education, health, housing and other priority sectors.

“All my commitment to complete the restoration of all the physical, cultural and architectural heritage of the Central University of Venezuela and to once again shine in the wake of public universities in Venezuela, Latin America and the Caribbean as one of the best in history,” emphasized the National President.
