The Bolivarian Government of the state of Carabobo rehabilitated the façade of the Municipal Theater of Valencia, an icon of the capital of Carabobo, as part of the actions being carried out for the protection of the entity's Historical and Cultural Heritage.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, rehabilitation work included removing the worn layer from the front for replacement with new coating and paint.

The work was carried out on instructions from Mayor Dina Castillo, under the guidelines of Governor Rafael Lacava and the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, with the premise of preserving one of the most emblematic buildings in the city.

In this regard, the president of the Urban Development Institute of the Center of Valencia (INDUVAL), Jarry Velásquez, explained that the crews of that institution carried out a comprehensive approach to protect every detail of the historic façade. At the same time, he indicated that they made the replacement with new coating and paint, in the external areas as well as inside the lobby of the Municipal Theater, with the best quality frieze and painting works.

“The Municipal Theater is a stronghold for our city of Valencia and for everyone in the state of Carabobo, we at INDUVAL have the responsibility to give the utmost care and the best beautifying treatment to these large facilities that we have here,” he said.

In addition, he indicated that “during the nights we are washing the Boulevard, lighting the entire Plaza Bolívar, and the entire Historic Center, as part of our annual plan of activities that we have at INDUVAL.”
