The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, announced the transformation of the Eleazar López Contreras Cultural House into a completely rehabilitated space dedicated to art, knowledge and citizen encounter.

In this regard, he indicated that this emblematic building, located in the parish of El Paraíso, has been rescued after a comprehensive process that respected its original structure, preserving its historical value.

In addition, Mayor Meléndez congratulated the team that worked on the recovery of space and assured that this achievement represents another step towards building a city that promotes culture and collective well-being.

“We continue working to provide the people of Caracas with spaces that enrich their quality of life,” Meléndez emphasized.
