Bolivarian Government received more than 150 tour operators in Margarita

The Bolivarian Government received more than 150 tour operators from Latin America on the island of Margarita, Nueva Esparta state, who arrived at the state to learn about the offer of the island region during a Mega Fam Trip organized by Copa Airlines and 17 companies in the sector, an activity that precedes the start of the Panama-Porlamar direct route.

The government of the state of Nueva Esparta reported that the new air connection will begin operations on November 26 with three weekly frequencies and indicated that this initiative represents a step for the island's economic growth, while stressing the importance of maintaining support for projects that link the public sector with local business.

Visitors were welcomed at the facilities of G.J. Santiago Mariño International Airport. The agency noted that this strategic connection will make it possible to open doors to thousands of international travelers, show the potential of beaches and gastronomy, and boost the local economy in the coming months.
