Bolivarian Government promotes rehabilitation of the Mata de la Miel asphalt plant in Apure

In the state of Apure, work is progressing on the comprehensive rehabilitation and electromechanical adaptation of the Mata de la Miel asphalt plant, a strategic infrastructure located on the National Highway via Elorza, in the El Matadero sector of the Páez municipality.

Through the Ministry of the People's Power of Public Works, the work crews are in an advanced phase of execution, reported the Venezolana de Televisión website.

On site, the main access ramp is adapted by leveling and compacting the ground to ensure a firm and durable base.

In addition, the concrete and reinforced steel foundation slab that will support the electric power generation plant has been emptied.

In the same way, the engineering team empties the protective covers for the asphalt processing pits, together with the topographic alignment and sinking of steel pipes that will be integrated into the structure for the correct flow and channeling of the systems.

With the upcoming start-up of this industrial plant, public administration will consolidate the production of asphalt material for the asphalting and patching plan, which will strengthen the road network and the development of communities in the Apureño plain.
