Bolivarian Government placed more than 1,600 tons of asphalt in Lara

The governor of the state of Lara, Adolfo Pereira, reported that 1,600 tons of asphalt were applied to the road between the Cunere and Siquisique sectors, both in the Urdaneta municipality.
During the supervision of the work, he indicated that at the same time, 500 tons of asphalt are being placed in the central area of Siquisique, which allows us to guarantee good traffic to this town, according to a press release from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
For his part, the president of the Lara State Road Institute (Invilara), Wilfredo Torres, explained that hydraulic protection is carried out to prevent the base of the bridge from being completely undermined, “we are reviewing the access slabs of the northern abutment and placing respectively the gabion walls,” he said.
The National Asphalt Plan 2025 seeks to improve road infrastructure across the country. This project has an investment of 205 million euros approved by President Nicolás Maduro.
