Bolivarian Government opens the doors of a Regional Ophthalmological Center in Falcón

This Wednesday, March 20, the Bolivarian Government inaugurated the José Alberto Mendoza Ovalles regional ophthalmological center, belonging to the popular Pedro Iturbe de Coro clinic in Falcón state. This is a health center that was closed for several months and will now have an operational capacity of 300 monthly resolutions.

The governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark Boscán, handed over the area that is part of the first phase of the rehabilitation of the popular clinic that assists 14,898 inhabitants of the community of San José, San Gabriel parish in the Miranda municipality (Coro).

Cited in a press release from the local government, the entity's first civil authority stated that “two years ago, the health center had to cease its care due to infrastructure problems that were corrected by the action of the government and the Military Community Brigades (BRICOMILES)”.

Among the tasks, the repair of cracks, roof waterproofing, replacement of sanitary parts, frieze and wall painting, adaptation of lighting, improvements in air conditioning and renovation of spaces stood out.
