Bolivarian Government of Venezuela stands in solidarity with Brazil in the face of loss and destruction caused by extreme rains

From the social network X, the foreign minister, Yván Gil, expressed on behalf of the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, the solidarity of the Venezuelan people with Brazil after being hit by heavy rains in part of their territory.

“On behalf of President @NicolasMaduro, the government and people of Venezuela, we express our solidarity and offer support to the people and government of Brazil in the face of the effects of extreme rains in Rio Grande do Sul, which has caused damage and victims in the last few hours,” he wrote.

In the neighboring country, the authorities confirmed that the intense rains that have affected the state of Rio Grande do Sul have left more than 30 dead and more than 60 missing, as a result of the floods.
