Bolivarian Government of La Guaira activated drinking water well in Tanaguarena

The Government is making progress in actions that benefit the People

The governor of the state of La Guaira, Alejandro Terán activated this Wednesday the Cerro Grande drinking water well, located in Tanaguarena, Cabaraballeda parish.

According to information issued by the government, this well will supply 20 liters of water per second and its activation is part of the Water Plan that it is carrying out together with the Minister of Water Care, Rodolfo Marco Torres.

The Cerro Grande drinking water well will benefit 13 sectors, including Paso 3, Las Palmeras, La Playa Avenue, Botanical Garden, Palmar Este, Guaicaipura, Quebrada Seca, Alí Primera, Terepaima, Guaiquerí, Av. Circunvalación, Tanaguarena and Guaicoto.

“This is a major infrastructure project, benefiting more than 15,000 people and reducing the water distribution cycle to five days. In this well, a large investment was made in the electrical system with the installation of three transformers of 25 KVA each and all the electrical adaptations in order to continue moving forward,” said the Governor.
