The governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, reinaugurated the Naguanagua Olympic Village, a space that will house approximately 900 athletes.

“Today, the faces of our athletes say everything: the happiness, the commitment, the passion with which we have worked here and with which they work to represent us in sports,” said the regional president.

Lacava pointed out that the comprehensively recovered infrastructure has 186 rooms available with 900 beds, a gym equipped with 2,500 kg free weights between dumbbells and discs, as well as 26 machines for working muscle groups, free squat machines, essential equipment for athletes and 3 ergometers for the discipline of rowing.

250 tons of air conditioners and a thousand LED lamps of between 24 and 30 watts for indoor use were installed on site. In addition, the fountain, the lobby and three elevators were recovered.
